Miguel Sanchez is an expert in offshore turbine technology, turbine design and certification at Tractebel Engineering. He has 5 years work experience with Areva in Germany, where he was involved in the development of the 8MW Areva turbine and the merger with Gamesa. He therefore shows extensive experience in WTG technology and design, certification, interface engineering, site suitability assessment & energy yield, park layout optimization. Additionally, Miguel has wide experience in offshore wind turbine design and integrated turbine-substructure certification through his experience with DNV in Denmark. Finally, he has extensive experience in project management in offshore and marine projects acquired at DHI.
