Suan Hwee Song is the Senior International Account Manager for Electric Power at Caterpillar Power Finance in Singapore. He is responsible for arranging financing for Caterpillar’s electric power customers in Asia. Through international assignments and various positions in Singapore, Mexico and the United Kingdom during his 12 year career, Suan has accumulated varied deal experience in the analysis and execution of power and infrastructure projects, particularly in the areas of international finance, commercial sales, fuel sales and financial modelling. Before joining Caterpillar, Suan worked as a commercial manager and project developer at Intergen, a global independent power producer specializing in large scale coal-fired and gas-fired combined cycle power plants. Suan also spent time at BW Ventures, a development company that specializes in owning and operating LNG regasification and liquefaction plants, with a majority of the projects centered on Central and South America, especially Chile and the Dominican Republic. Suan graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in 2002.
