Justin Wu is Head of Asia-Pacific overseeing all research output and business activities for Bloomberg New Energy Finance across the region. He leads a team of over 30 analysts across 10 locations in the Asia-Pacific region and is in charge of producing and communicating research and analysis on some of the fastest growing energy markets in the world. Based in Hong Kong, Justin joined the company in 2007. He previously ran BNEF’s Wind Insight service, where he helped developed a number of research products and analysis tools to serve the global wind industry. Justin is a specialist in Chinese energy and environmental policy, US-China clean energy trade issues and the wind manufacturing industry. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences on clean energy, has been cited often in leading media including BBC News, Nature, the Financial Times and Bloomberg News. In 2012, he testified before the US Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources on competitiveness and collaboration between the US and China on clean energy. Justin holds a MS in Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London and a BS in International Politics and Economics from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.
