Simon Parker has been Chairman and CEO of DP CleanTech Holdings Limited since 2009 when it was formed as the engineering and construction arm of Dragon Power Group. At this time, the company also managed over 30 biomass power plants in China. He also stood on the boards of Jinan Boiler Group and National Bio Energy Ltd, the latter being a partner with State Grid, the largest national energy company in China. He has overseen the transformation of the company from a quasi-SOE to a globally recognized and respected industry leader within a very short period, and at a time of rapid change in both China and the renewables industry. Prior to becoming involved in the renewable energy industry, Simon had 20 years of investment experience in Asia Pacific, and most recently was Head of Private Equity, Global Special Situations Group, Citigroup Capital Markets Asia Ltd, Hong Kong.
