Dr. Balasankari is a renewable energy expert working all around the world for World Bank, UN, ADB and other institutional and private sector projects. She is also the Executive Director for the Consulting firm ‘Renewable Cogen Asia’. She was involved in more than 70 renewable energy projects in Asia, Africa and other parts of the World. Apart from renewable energy, her expertise also includes energy efficiency, climate change, etc. She was involved in the training of private sector, Government officials, etc. in various topics related to renewable energy, climate change, etc. She has chaired and has been speaker in many energy events and conferences. She is serving in the Advisory Board of REWA for the past 7 years.
