Mike entered the collision industry in 1976 when his high school Consumer Economics teacher offered him a job at his father's Auto Body Supply store.

He enrolled in Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and continued to work in a small auto body shop, refining his skill set.

In 1980, Mike joined a multi-franchised dealership, and spent the next 13 years as a technician and body shop manager. In 1988 Mike won the honour of 'Highest National Score' for ASE.

In 1993, he met Don Keenan at a seminar. Shortly thereafter, he opened the first expansion shop of Keenan Auto Body, Inc. 'Keenan Auto Body West'. In 2001 he was promoted to partner, and assumed the role of Executive Vice President, COO.

In 2010 Mike took the role as President operating 12 facilities, encompassing two states, with sales exceeding $29 million.  Keenan Auto Body was acquired by ABRA Auto Body & Glass in 2015.

One of Mike's most significant goals in Keenan Auto Body was continuing to work as a team on behalf of his communities. His staff and many of their family members work together for the past eighteen years hosting an annual charity golf outing, raising in excess of $500,000 for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Camp-Make-A-Dream, Children and Youth Services, Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House and Little Smiles, while continuing to support many local educational and community events.

Mike began converting shops to waterborne paint products 2009. He took advantage of several grants and tax credits, and installed solar panels at his Delaware facility, and continues to research viable options for all locations.

Mike is an active member of the Philadelphia Automotive Citywide Advisory Board for the Philadelphia school districts automotive programs, The Swenson Technical High School Advisory Board, SCRS, NABC, a CIC Gold Pin Member, multi-term member of the State Farm Auto Body Repair Advi
