Jeremy M. Wiltz is the Assistant Director of the IT Enterprise Services Division within the FBI’s Information and Technology Branch. Mr. Wiltz oversees both the IT Enterprise Operations Section and the IT Customer Services Section, and is directly responsible for the overall customer experience across the FBI IT enterprise. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Wiltz served as the Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) of the FBI’s Information Services Branch, Criminal Justice Information Services Division in Clarksburg, West Virginia. In that role, he was responsible for the Biometric Services Section, the Information Technology Management Section, and the National Instant Criminal Background Check System Section. As the DAD, Mr. Wiltz provided oversight for the National Crime Information Center, the Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal, the National Data Exchange, the Uniform Crime Reporting Redevelopment Project, the FBI Biometric Center of Excellence, and biometric interoperability programs. Mr. Wiltz’ leadership and technical achievements earned him the Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Service in 2016. Mr. Wiltz joined the FBI in August 2007, bringing with him over 21 years of professional and technical leadership experience in engineering and deploying IT systems for the U.S. Government, including serving as the Chief Information Officer for the Central Intelligence Agency’s Deputy Director for Community Management, where his focus was developing and maintaining the financial system for the intelligence community budget. Mr. Wiltz holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University. He holds a Project Management Professional certification and a Program Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute®.
