Lieutenant Tony Moré has a dynamic background in both active duty and reserve tours of duty. Enlisting in the Coast Guard in 1987, LT Moré qualified early on in search and rescue and small boat operations while assigned to CG Sta Lake Worth Inlet, FL. He later went on to serve within the Coast Guard’s Defense and Intelligence community with extensive work in both inter-agency and joint military operations, to include expeditionary service overseas and various assignments to deployable specialized forces commands specializing in Maritime Law Enforcement, Intelligence and Port Security operations essential to successful counter narcotic and alien migrant interdiction and anti-terrorism in South Florida. In between Active Duty tours, LT Moré successfully launched JAMarine Corporation, a company specializing in marine navigation, communication and power management systems, products and services for over 6 years in the Tampa Bay area. As a business owner and member of the Reserves, he continued to serve his country as a senior enlisted member providing expertise during post 9/11 conditions. In 2007, LT Moré left the business world and returned to active duty as a newly Commissioned Coast Guard Officer. Since then, he has served as the Anti Terrorism Officer to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 10- C4I Detachment in Jacksonville FL; as a Special Projects Officer to the inter-agency Office of Global Maritime Situational Awareness in Washington, DC, as assistant branch chief for the Transportation Workers Identification Credential implementation program and as the primary representative to the Coast Guards newly established Biometrics’ Enabled Identity Program at CG Headquarters in Washington, DC and as the Chief of Response at Marine Safety Unit Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is currently serving back in Washington, DC as the Biometric Mission Manager for the Coast Guard’s Office of Law Enforcement.
