Special Agent Kris A. Peterson is the Division Chief for Law Enforcement Information Sharing (LEIS) at Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Headquarters in Quantico, VA. His division includes nationwide program management of the DoD Law Enforcement Defense Data Exchange (D-DEx) and the Law Enforcement Information Exchange (LInX), and the NCIS Biometrics and eGuardian programs. He is also the NCIS Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Officer (CSO). He served as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge for General Crimes, Norfolk Field Office, from 2006-2012. He previously served as a Supervisory Special Agent on the staff of the NCIS Executive Assistant Director, Atlantic Operations, Norfolk, VA, and at Little Creek, VA. He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and Toastmasters.
