Joy Smith is the Director, Information Exploitation at Novetta, where she leads the development and execution of strategies that result in new, advanced identity analytics products and services. Ms. Smith is currently focusing on methods to integrate multiple, large-scale, data sources and formats – including biometrics, biographics, transactional, social media, and multimedia – into a single identity view for more efficient analysis. Previously, Ms. Smith led consulting and program/product management efforts for IBG. Prior to IBG, she was a Research Analyst programmer at GlaxoSmithKline, where she created mathematical models of biological systems. Ms. Smith holds PMP and CISSP certifications. She received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 2006, and is currently pursuing a M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
