Mr. John Manson serves as the Chief, Strategic Integration Division, Defense Forensics and Biometrics Agency (DFBA), Office of the Provost Marshal General (OPMG), Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA). Managing unique national-level biometrics and forensics programs supporting Unified Action Partners, Mr. Manson is directly responsible for leading the coordination, synchronization and integration of operational and technical processes that transform strategy into efficient and effective employment of forensics and biometrics capabilities. Mr. Manson is a retired U.S. Marine Corps Military Police Officer, having served in a variety of operational, headquarters and Joint assignments throughout his career. He served as the senior law enforcement representative in the Marine Corps with his 2007 assignment as the Branch Head, Law Enforcement and Corrections Branch, Security Division, Plans, Policies, and Operations Department, Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps, where he oversaw worldwide U.S. Marine Corps law enforcement policy and programs. Other notable assignments include serving as the Director, Joint Prosecution and Exploitation Center (JPEC), Multinational Force-West. In this capacity Mr. Manson was directly credited with synchronizing and integrating biometrics and forensics operations to support a variety of Counter-Insurgency, Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) and Rule of Law (RoL) operations throughout Al-Anbar Province, Iraq. Mr. Manson is also a former Chief of Police, Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Supply Center, Richmond, Va.
