Katie Stephens is the director of professional education at the Center for Identity at The University of Texas at Austin and is an expert in public information programs on identity theft and cyber crimes. She holds an M.A. in Mathematics from UT Austin. At the Center, Katie oversees the development of innovative education solutions for identity management, security and privacy issues for high-risk groups. This includes higher education initiatives, cyber workforce development projects with the state of Texas, and Beat The Thief, an original children’s cyber safety and privacy education app with a classroom curriculum.
