Bruce Dietzman is the Transmission Director for Oncor Electric Delivery Co., where he has worked for over forty years in the areas of transmission line design, transmission line routing and certification, substation design and substation standards. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University and is a Professional Engineer in the states of Texas and New Mexico. He is a Senior Life Member of the IEEE and the Power and Energy Society. Mr. Dietzman is long term member, Past Chair, and current National Electrical Safety Code representative of the PES Substations Committee. His standards work for the committee includes community acceptance of electrical substations, oil containment, animal deterrents, and substation security. Mr. Dietzman has previously served in many PES positions including Chair - Dallas Chapter, Regional Representative, Chair - Technical Council and Vice President of Technical Activities.
