Dr. Michael Kintner-Meyer has 21 years of energy/economics/environment system analysis and modeling experience. As an engineer by training, he has managed U.S. and international teams on numerous system modeling activities and has been intimately involved in technical aspects of system modeling including electric capacity expansion planning, optimal electric generation dispatch under security and emissions constraints, renewable energy resource assessments, integration of renewable technology into the grid, distribution system planning and automation, and residential, commercial and transportation demand modeling. Dr. Kintner-Meyer is a staff scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
