Dr. Jeff Wetzel leads the technology group at Novati with his primary roles being technology roadmapping, technology development and resource estimation. Dr. Wetzel brings an experience base of over 30 years in silicon microelectronics technology development at IBM Watson Research, Motorola APRDL, Tokyo Electron, Sematech/ATDF and SVTC. He led Motorola’s efforts to introduce low dielectric constant insulators for 90nm node CMOS in the late ‘90s and managed ATDF’s Emerging Technologies group from 2004 to 2008 which developed new transistor technologies for <28nm node. His recent focus is on defining a technology platform for 3D integration of sensors.
