Debasis Majumdar is a Program Director in the Industrial Innovation and Partnerships Division in the Engineering Directorate at NSF. Debasis joined NSF with 30+ years of industrial experience in research, product development and related intellectual property. He is a co-inventor of more than 100 US patents and has co-authored more than 30 peer reviewed papers and book chapters. Debasis holds a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University and a B.Tech. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
