Akhil Oltikar brings over 18 years of global supply chain planning and management experience to Riverwood Solutions . Akhil has a strong track record delivering supply chain solutions that optimize operational and financial performance for the clients. Akhil identifies strategic and tactical issues affecting profitable growth and works with multi-functional teams to define, develop and implement business process and technology solutions enabling profitable growth for the clients. Akhil began his career at Remix Technologies Inc., a pioneer in supply chain modeling and simulation software. He was part of the core team and project that resulted in the acquisition of the company by Flextronics. Prior to joining Riverwood Solutions in 2014, Akhil spent 13 years at Flextronics and served as the Head of SimFlex Group, an independent business division of Flextronics, providing supply chain planning software and consulting services to Global 500 companies. He led over 50 major global supply chain strategy and implementation projects having $100M to $6B supply chains. His work included end-to-end supply chain and logistics network design and optimization, inventory management and optimization, and S&OP implementations that drove significant cost reductions, improved supply chain flexibility and financial performance for Flextronics clients. Akhil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from the University of Mumbai, India and a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is a member of the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals and APICS.
