Ian Huh is Senior Vice President of SK Telecom, the #1 mobile network operator in South Korea, and currently responsible for the product marketing and business development of the company’s enterprise solution business. The range of the products he oversees encompasses IoT Network and Platform, Big Data, Cloud Services and Smart Grid. Before joining SK Telecom, he worked for 13 years at Samsung Electronics semiconductor businesses, where he managed several product lines such as Mobile SoC / Modem, Flash Memory and Solid State Drives. He also worked as a product innovation specialist at Samsung Electronics’ Global Marketing Operation office. Ian holds a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in Michigan, US, where he spent long hours at automotive factories to find the way to reduce the ramp-up time by collecting and analyzing the data from numerous machines. He also holds masters’ and bachelor’s degree in engineering from Seoul National University, Korea.
