Sajan Pillai is CEO of UST Global. A farsighted leader and an innovation agent, Sajan has an inimitable view of how technology can change the world. His zealous focus on world‐class customer experience and transforming the world has earned him many a laurel and he continues to seek avenues to make a difference to society. With a rich and extensive background in information technology, and nourished by the power of technology, Sajan has held several senior management positions in the software industry. He has also architected and managed several large software systems for MCI Telecommunications, US. Ardent about software and computing solutions, Sajan also holds patents in Internet Computing and Data Systems. His inspiring leadership has seen UST Global growing leaps and bounds and he is today leading the organization into the digital era. He led the company’s founding team in 1999. From 20 employees back then, there are more than 15,000 employees today, operating in 21 countries across North America, Asia and Europe. Sajan is as enthusiastic about nonprofit work as he is about business, and serves on the boards of multiple nonprofit organizations: the California Science Center, the Global Virus Network, Centro Fox in Mexico and PEACE One Day Corporate Coalition. Sajan holds an engineering degree from College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Science, technology, community and the arts inspire him and he engages in community initiatives in and around Orange County, California, where he lives with his family.
