Dr. Stefan Müller received the joint master’s degree in Microelectronics from Technical University Munich, Germany, and Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2011. He also holds a German diploma degree in Mechatronics and Information Technology as well as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering both from Technical University Munich, Germany (2011/2008). In 2011, he joined NaMLab gGmbH, a research institute originally founded as joint-venture between DRAM manufacturer Qimonda and the University of Technology Dresden. In 2015, he received his PhD degree from Dresden University of Technology for his work on HfO2-based ferroelectric devices. He then became project leader of the publicly funded research transfer project “EXIST Forschungstransfer” aiming at the commercialization of ferroelectric hafnium oxide. Since 2016, he is CEO/CTO of The Ferroelectric Memory Company (FMC).
