Landon Spring is the Sr. Director of Administration for RK Logistics Group in Fremont, CA, which provides complex warehousing, kitting, assembly, cleanroom repackaging, global spares distribution, transportation, and direct manufacturing support customized for high tech, medical device and high value consumer goods. Over the past 21 years, Landon has held numerous management roles in engineering, quality, manufacturing, and sales & operations planning, specializing in the semiconductor and high tech industries. He ran worldwide OEM Sales Operations at SanDisk, and prior to that spent 12 years with Applied Materials. With ASQ Quality Manager and Internal Auditor certifications, and a commitment to process and systems development, Landon has run multiple ISO certification and compliance efforts. Landon holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and an MA in Management from Webster University in St. Louis. He was an officer in the US Air Force, serving in combat as a Weapons Director aboard Air Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft. Landon attributes his exposure to diverse people and cultures as the impetus to initiate change and enhance diversity in the traditionally male-centric high-tech and logistics arenas. He has personally experienced, and managed, both the difficulties and benefits of integration of women and minority groups into legacy workforces and company values.
