Sudhakar Raman is an accomplished senior executive in the High Technology, Energy sector and has a solid record of sales and product success in both domestic and international markets. Currently, as Vice President of Marketing, MOCVD, Veeco Corporation and member of the Veeco Leadership Team, he directs the global marketing effort for Veeco’s MOCVD business. Before Veeco, Sudhakar gained extensive experience in creating and executing product and business strategies in the semiconductor market for ESI (Electro Scientific Industries) in Oregon, USA. Over an 18+ year career, he has performed a variety of leadership roles with broad expertise in P&L management, marketing, product development, product differentiation, customer support, and complex project management. He has considerable experience working with geographically dispersed teams, international projects and successful management of cross-functional programs. He completed his graduate studies from University of Kentucky with a research scholarship in Electrical Engineering and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from MIT (Manipal Institute of Technology) in India. Sudhakar resides in New Jersey, USA with his wife and two children.
