IBM
Dr. Shu-Jen Han is the manager of Nanoscale Science and Technology group at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center. His group is responsible for post-Si energy efficient transistor research based on nanomaterials and nanotechnology in IBM. Before joining IBM Research in 2009, he was an advisory engineer at IBM semiconductor research and development center in Hopewell Junction, New York working on 45 nm and 32 nm SOI device design and circuit-device interaction. He has authored or co-authored over 70 technical publications. He has been appointed as IBM Master Inventor with > 110 issued and pending US patents. He received IEDM Roger A. Haken Best Paper Award, multiple IBM Invention Awards, IBM Research Division Award, and IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement Awards (twice). He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Sci. & Eng. and Ph.D. minor in Electrical Eng. from Stanford University (2007) and a B.S. from National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan (1999).
