Peter Sandvik is the SiC Product Manager for GE's newly created Silicon Carbide Power Solutions' business. His focus includes the establishment of supply chains for SiC discrete device, module and power block product manufacturing, as well as shaping the business plan as newly formed unit expands its reach. Prior to that, Peter spent a number of years managing the Semiconductor Technology Lab, a team of GE researchers developing novel wide bandgap semiconductor technologies including power devices, harsh environment sensors and ICs for GE's industrial applications. Peter holds a master's degree from Northwestern University, with a focus on WBG-based photodetectors for UV applications, and has patents and publications in the noted fields.
