Ken Cole is a Supervisory Investigator with Healthcare Fraud Shield’s SIU Services. In this role, he identifies, investigates and resolves issues of suspected fraud, waste and abuse (FWA). In addition, he assists in the implementation of FWA programs for clients. Ken has over nine years’ experience in the Healthcare FWA field, working for both plans and vendors. He holds both Associates and Bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice and is an Accredited Health Care Fraud Investigator (AHFI), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Professional Coder (CPC). He has presented to the NHCAA on a variety of topics including ophthalmology, behavioral health, foreign claims, fertility services, emergency room services and addiction recovery schemes.
