Mr. Kristan is the Director of Product Technology, Long Products Division for EVRAZ North America located in Pueblo, Colorado. He has held this position since 2012 and is responsible for the direction and oversight of product development and process improvement efforts focusing on rail and rod/bar performance. He received both BS and MS degrees in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. Joe previously worked as a senior engineer at TTCI responsible for rail, rail welding, and wheel research and testing. Subsequently he worked at Trane Commercial Systems as the Plant Metallurgist in Pueblo, CO during which time he received Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
