Brother Guy Consolmagno, SJ, studied planetary sciences at MIT and the University of Arizona (Ph.D. 1978), before entering the Jesuits in 1989. Since 1993, he has served at the Vatican Observatory as an astronomer and curator of meteorites, and in 2014 became president of the Vatican Observatory Foundation. Along with more than 200 scientific publications, he is the co-author of several popular astronomy books.
