Mark Timko is a Senior Fishery Biologist with 19 years experience, 12 years in the mid-Columbia River basin. Mr. Timko has been responsible for designing and conducting large scale acoustic telemetry studies to assess juvenile salmon migration, timing, and distribution as it is related to hydroelectric project operations. Mr. Timko has been conducting acoustic tag fisheries evaluations at hydropower dams worldwide from the United States to New Caledonia, La Reunion Island (France), Australia, Puerto Rico, Denmark, and the United Kingdom. He received an MS in Fisheries from the University of Alaska in 1998 and a BS in Marine Sciences from Hawaii Pacific University in 1992.
