Volta River Authority
Isaac is the Manager, Project Management with the Volta River Authority, a Power Utility Company in Ghana, which generates over 90% of the country’s electric energy requirement from Hydro and Thermal sources. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Project Management). He is an IAPM Certified Project Manager with 20 years’ experience in Project Implementation and Management. Isaac’s main areas of focus have been procurement, management and implementation of capital projects. Isaac is currently involved in the Rehabilitation of Dam Instrumentation for Akosombo (1020MW) and Kpong (160MW) Hydroelectric dams, Shoreline Protection Works for the Kpong Dam and is also instrumental in the implementation of the Kpong Dam Retrofit Works. Isaac also oversees the Feasibility Studies for the Pwalugu Multipurpose Hydro Power Project and the Juale Hydro Power Project all in the northern region of Ghana. Isaac is a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers and he is a member of the governing council of the institution as the Chair for the Eastern Region of Ghana.
