Out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Don works with global hydropower specialists to plan and engineer many hydroelectric projects, such as conventional design and pumped storage. His expertise has grown to include water intakes and outlets, powerhouses, small hydro, addition of hydropower generation at existing dams, plant rehabilitation and upgrade, power transmission and distribution, fish passage and hydrokinetic developments, as well as power-related regulatory and permitting services.
