Mr. Chris Utracki is the Chair of the Hydroelectric Productivity Committee (HPC), Electric Utility Cost Group (EUCG); a not-for-profit trade organization which main goal is to assist member utilities with achieving excellence by providing relevant, accurate and timely benchmarking information on cost, performance and best practices. Member utilities associated in EUCG HPC operate over 100,000 MW or about 57% of total North American Hydropower capacity. Chris works for Ontario Power Generation as a Section Manager, Production Support, Hydro-Thermal Operations Division. His background is in power equipment design, plant operations and plant performance assessments. He holds a Master of Mechanical & Energy Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degrees and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
