Maxim Bergeron graduated from the Université Laval, Québec, Canada, in 2008 (B. Eng.), 2011 (M.Sc.) and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree with Jérôme Cros. His Ph.D. studies are related to the optimisation of the damper winding and pole shoe. He is sharing his time between the LEEPCI laboratory of Université Laval and the Global Technology Centre of Alstom, Sorel-Tracy, Canada.
