Jay Paidipati is a Director in Navigant’s Energy Practice and has been in the clean energy industry for 12 years. His work focuses on helping public and private entities manage and make decisions regarding emerging energy technologies. He has worked with: federal, state, and local governments; trade groups; utilities; manufacturers; and investors. Service offerings have included: technology evaluation and screening; cost studies; market penetration analysis; employment impact studies; cost and benefit studies; technology due diligence; and program evaluation. Over the past 6 years, much of his work has focused on energy storage and recent energy storage engagements include: energy storage market entry strategy for a large energy developer; working with an east coast utility to screen energy storage technologies, assess their technical potential and develop cost and performance characteristics; and a technical potential study across a manufacturers North American facilities. Mr. Paidipati has a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.
