Kathy Zancanella

Ms. Zancanella has been the Power Division Manager since 2001. Her responsibilities include administering the maintenance and operations of the South Feather Power Project hydroelectric generation system, under the direction of the General Manager. She compiles records and reports for various federal and state regulatory agencies; prepares invoices for power generated by the system; develops operating, maintenance and capital budgets; oversees engineering and construction contractors; and supervises the skilled personnel responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Power Division. Prior to joining South Feather Water and Power Agency, Ms. Zancanella worked for Pacific Gas and Electric Company for twenty years. She began her PG&E career as an apprentice powerhouse operator, and worked as a journeyman system operator, license coordinator, generation supervisor, supervisor of license compliance, relicensing project manager, and administrative assistant to the Vice President of Power Generation. She has a Bachelors degree from CSU Chico and a Masters degree in Water Science from UC Davis.
