Mr. Nascimento holds a MSc and a BA in electrical engineering from the Federal School of Engineering of Itajubá (EFEI), Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 1999 and 1991 respectively. He has an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, in 1999. He worked at Brazilian Regulatory Agency from 1992 to 2000. Since 2001, he has worked developing greenfield small hydro projects, totalizing 3.000 MW, including the inventory of hydro basins, feasibility studies, basic projects and environmental studies. He was Director of Brasil PCH S.A., responsible for developed, constructed, commissioning and operate 13 small hydropower plants with 300 MW, from 2007 to 2012. Nowadays, he is Director of Minas PCH S.A., a Brazilian Hydro IPP with 1.800 MW in project over development.
