Dr. Vieux is an expert in hydrology with specialties in stormwater modeling, radar rainfall, and distributed hydrologic modeling. He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Oklahoma. Over one hundred publications appear as book chapters, refereed journal articles, and papers in conference proceedings. He is the author of Distributed Hydrologic Modeling Using GIS, and coauthor of Hydrology and Floodplain Analysis. As principal of his engineering firm, Vieux & Associates, Inc., where he oversees development of radar rainfall and distributed hydrologic monitoring systems; and consulting studies in design storm development, and stormwater modeling.
