Dr. Rashid is a supervisory hydraulic engineer and is the director of Alden’s Engineering and Modeling Services. Dr. Rashid has a Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from Washington State University with emphasis on computational and experimental hydraulics and sediment transport modeling. He has over 23 years of experience in application of physical hydraulic and computer models including CFD models in support of designing hydropower, water, wastewater, and storm water facilities. Specific facilities include hydropower facilities, fish passage facilities, intakes, outlets, spillways, tunnels, penstocks, pipelines, flood protection, and pumping facilities.
