Tao Guo has more than 25 years working experience in power system planning, operation and control, especially in the power market simulation software developments, and consulting assignments in the areas of variable generation integration, portfolio optimization, and generation-transmission planning. He is now the Regional Director of West Coast USA at Energy Exemplar supporting the applications of PLEXOS in North America after having been the director of software development for 12 years at Global Energy (now Ventyx of ABB).
