Dr. Ahmed "Jemie" Dababneh is the Managing Principal for the Hydrologic and Hydraulic Department. He has experience in the areas of project management, civil, water resources, and coastal engineering, risk assessments and specializes in modeling with focus on hydrology and hydraulics, surface water, flood control, dam failure, storm surge, tsunami, thermal plume and recirculation, machine hydraulics, contaminant fate and transport analysis, watershed and stream water quality. Dr. Dababneh is experienced with several environmental, hydrological, and coastal engineering modeling packages and with numerical analysis and probabilistic risk assessment. Dr. Dababneh has a broad range of project experience in stormwater management, design, permitting, and site development. Dr. Dababneh is experienced in using many software programs, including: Civil3D, AutoCAD, Minitab, MATLAB, SWMM, BASINS, WinHSPF, Flow Master, HEC-RAS, IRIC, HEC-HMS, HEC-DSS Vue, SLOSH, FLO-2D and DELFT3D, HEC-SSP as well as using ARC-GIS tools (Special Analyst, 3D Analyst, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-GeoHMS, Arc-Hydro) for extracting topological data and characteristics in developing hydrologic and hydraulic models for HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS.
