Chris Brown is an Electrical Engineering Supervisor with Puget Sound Energy (in Washington State) supporting hydro, natural gas, and wind generation facilities. He has more than 30 years’ experience in instrumentation systems and applications for the power utility and oil exploration industries, including 18 years in development of the Rotor-Mounted Scanner condition monitoring system for hydro generators. In his role at PSE Chris supports renovation of hydro facilities, technology upgrades, addresses a broad spectrum of technical issues, and is presently spearheading a new comprehensive Predictive Maintenance program for all generation sites. Chris received a BSEE degree from Tennessee Technological University.
