Chris Karchesky is a Senior Fish Biologist with PacifiCorp Energy and is the supervisor for the Company’s new Lewis River Fish Passage Program – a comprehensive reintroduction program to reestablish runs of anadromous salmonids throughout the Lewis River Hydroelectric Project, which is located in Southwest, Washington. Mr. Karchesky has a M.S. Degree in Fisheries Resources from the University of Idaho and has over 20 years of experience in fisheries and aquatic sciences. A significant portion of his career has been devoted to ecology, life history, habitat use and factors affecting migration, dam passage, and survival of adult and juvenile life-stages of ESA-listed anadromous salmonids at rivers, streams, and reservoirs.
