Principal Investigator Todd Jacobs, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, is currently the Deputy Superintendent for Operations and Administration for the Channel Island National Marine Sanctuary. Todd Jacobs has been with NOAA National Ocean Service since 1989. His background includes facilitating research projects using research vessels, manned submersibles, aircraft and unmanned aircraft systems. He has been involved with the NOAA UAS Program since its inception in 2004.
