B. E. Bishop is a professor and the technical director of the Weapons and Systems Engineering at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. He is the founder of the mobile robotics program and the honors major in Systems Engineering at USNA. His research interests range from cooperative marine vehicles to emerging technologies and design for extreme affordability.
