Wes joined NASA’s Aeronautics Research Institute (NARI) in March and works automation integration and the practical implementation of AI/ML for aviation purposes. He also supports NASA’s Convergent Aeronautics Solutions program, identifying transformational aeronautics concepts for the future. Prior to NASA, he worked with the FAA for 18 years in R&D and certification of new technology. He holds both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Kansas.
