LTC Sawyer currently serves as a Product Manager in the Medium Altitude and Endurance Office. In 2014 LTC Sawyer was accepted into the Training with Industry program and was assigned to The Boeing Company located in Huntsville, AL. LTC Sawyer’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star (with oak leaf cluster), Meritorious Service Medal (with oak leaf cluster), Army Commendation Medal (with oak leaf cluster), Army Achievement Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, Senior Parachutist Badge, and the Ranger Tab. LTC Jay C. Sawyer was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry in 1997 from the Reserve Officers Training Corps at North Georgia College in Dahlonega, GA.
