Eric Scheetz has more than 27 years of experience within Nevada State government. Prior to that he worked in public accounting and private business. For the last 16 years at the Office of the Nevada State Controller, he prepared portions of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. In addition, he assists State agency fiscal staff with financial issues, teaches staff about financial processes and implements GASB pronouncements. Prior to working at the Controller’s Office, he worked with the Nevada Legislative Counsel Bureau performing yellow book audits. Eric has been a member of AGA since March of 2008. He has been active as a Northern Nevada charter member serving as President as well as other positions. On the national level he is part of the AGA, Financial Management Standards Board.
