Philip R. Troyk, PhD, is Founder and CEO of Sigenics, Inc, and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is also Associate Dean of Engineering at IIT. He has a B.S.E.E. from UIUC, and a PhD in BioE from UIC. He is an internationally recognized expert in design and magnetic powering of remote sensors, including RFID and medical implants, with over 150 publications in archived journals and conference proceedings, and 15 US and European patents. Sensor ASIC designs from his IIT and Sigenics teams are deployed in experimental, industrial, and clinical devices, worldwide.
