Drs. Laura Rooseboom is co-founder and Managing Partner of StartGreen Capital. StartGreen Capital provides seed and growth capital for innovative companies and energy projects. StartGreen Capital started out in 2006 with it’s first cleantech venture fund. A year later the second cleantech venture fund followed. In October 2012 StartGreen launched OnePlanetCrowd: the first crowdfunding platform for sustainable consumer products and services. Since 2013 StartGreen also manages EnergieFonds Overijssel. And in 2014 Participatiefonds voor Duurzame Economie Noord Holland was added to the funds under management. Both funds aim to have more sustainable energy in their provinces and to help accelerate innovative companies.
