Patrick Frigge

Patrick Frigge graduated with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and management from the Technical University of Berlin in 2001. Patrick worked for Ricardo Consulting Engineers from 2002 until 2007 focusing on large engine development. In 2008, he became research & development director at Wärtsilä Switzerland, where he developed the RT-flex 35 and 40 engines, as well as laying the foundation for the company’s new X generation of 2-stroke engines. Patrick joined General Electric in Jenbach, Austria in 2013, as Product Line Executive Manager responsible for GE’s J920 10 MW engine platform. Today, he is holding the title of GE Consulting Engineer. He works with engine lubrication and is involved in various customer projects.
