Mr. Pyykkönen has worked in Amec Foster Wheeler since 1989. In early years until 2007 his duty was mainly tuning of process and supervising of performance tests of several tens of CFB and BFB boilers of different size burning various fuels like bituminous and anthracite coals, lignite, peat, bark, wood waste, sludge, straw and oil shale. Later on he was managing Systems engineering group of Conceptual engineering, which is responsible for systems descriptions and PI diagrams of a boiler plant. Since 2010 he has been working as Principle Engineer, Systems Engineering, responsible for boiler plant system’s process design in proposals as well as during project phase, and still participating process tuning, performance testing and process support until end of warranty period of specific plants.
